Description
Artisinally made by cheese masters over in Italy using whole cow's milk. This cheese is aged for at least 10 months giving it a hard crumbly texture . Matches well with sweet and savoury flavours or is delightful on its own. Clasically it is used to top pasta dishes to provide an extra dimension of flavour. Fantastic substitute for Parmesan cheese (Parmigiano-Reggiano) which is rarely halal certified. Made in the traditional method with animal rennet to separate the curd from the whey, only this time it's 100% halal certified.
