Smoked Paprika Chicken Pasta

  • 1 chicken breast
  • Fusilli pasta
  • Olive oil
  • Smoked paprika
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • Tomato puree
  • Chilli flakes (optional)
  • Passata
  • 100g sliced baby plum tomatoes
  • Double cream
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Fresh basil


  • Dice your chicken breast into smaller pieces, and cover them with 3tbsp olive oil and 4tbsp smoked paprika
  • Heat up 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan
  • Add ½ an onion and 2 garlic cloves all chopped and cook for 30 secs
  • Mix in 1 tbsp tomato puree and 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • Add the chicken and 3 tbsp passata
  • Add the sliced tomatoes
  • Let the chicken cook and start on your pasta
  • Add 300ml double cream and 3 tbsp of the pasta water
  • Stir and season with salt and pepper
  • Mix in the pasta, with cheddar cheese and fresh basil
