Turkish Lamb Shish Kebabs

Do you ever just crave a Kebab? Now I'm not talking about a greasy and cheeky Lamb Donner Kebab, which does hit the spot when needed! But when I say Kebab I mean a real authentic, tender and flavourful skewer -which Of course is made from Halal Lamb. Not to mention GMO free, Antibiotic Free, Hormone Free and Free to roam!

Make these Turkish Lamb Shish Kebabs which require minimal hovering over the stove!

Made hours in advance, once thrown on a hot coal, you will be left with the most sensational feast!

You HAVE to make this one:

♨️2kg Halal boneless diced lamb 
♨️2tbsp heaped sweet red pepper paste
♨️2tsp salt
♨️2tsp parsley
♨️2tbsp garlic or a few garlic cloves minced
♨️2tbsp lemon pepper
♨️2tsp red pepper flakes (I used the hot one)
♨️1tbsp sweet tomato paste or 1 vine tomato crushed (optional extra)
♨️ 2 Turkish long green peppers 

For the skewers:
♨️3 green peppers
♨️3 red peppers
♨️2 red onions

Method:
1. wash, rinse, drain and dry lamb (optional)
2. Soak 15 bamboo skewers in water , set aside
3. Make the marinade by combining all the ingredients together. If you are using Tomato and fresh garlic and green peppers they must be blended in a food processor.
4. Marinate lamb and set aside (overnight or 30 mins before cooking)
5. Chop peppers and onions chunky.
6. Prepare each skewer. Pepper, lamb, pepper, lamb, onion, lamb x3 per skewer.
7. Throw them on a hot charcoal BBQ for that authentic Turkish taste 😍
8. Enjoy with flatbread or like I did with buttery saffron rice
