DOP Parmesan authetically made by cheese masters in Italy using 3 ingredients: whole cow's milk, salt, halal rennet. This cheese is aged for at least 12 months giving it a hard crumbly texture. Matches well with sweet and savoury flavours or is delightful on its own. Clasically it is used to top pasta dishes to provide an extra dimension of flavour. Made in the traditional method with animal rennet to separate the curd from the whey, only this time it's 100% halal certified.
